For many, traumatic events or past experiences can take a toll emotionally and physically, coupled with the demands of daily life. When this burden becomes overwhelming, that's where I can offer support. Having worked in the counselling profession for over a decade, I offer the tools to facilitate a positive change in your life.
As a registered member of the BACP (British association of counsellors & psychotherapists) and a fully insured Counsellor and Supervisor, my training equips me to offer you therapeutic support in understanding and regulating thoughts and feelings and behaviour.
Over the years, I have worked in various therapeutic settings, having worked with hundreds of clients with a variety of issues. This includes within my own Private practice as well as in Palliative care settings and the NHS-based IAPT services. My experience has also enabled me to support the amazing work of Rape Crisis and ECHO, a charity supporting children with heart conditions and their families.
I have undertaken extensive additional training around Trauma, and Complex Trauma, I also work with areas including:
- Grief, Loss, and Bereavement
